Ingredients:

  • 4 cups (950 ml) 100% cranberry juice
  • 4 cups (950 ml) 100% apple juice
  • 2 liters (67.6 fl oz) ginger ale, chilled
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate seeds (optional)
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • Star anise for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a large punch bowl or pitcher, combine the cranberry juice and apple juice.
  2. Add the orange slices, lemon slices, fresh or frozen cranberries, pomegranate seeds (if using), and cinnamon sticks to the juice mixture.
  3. For best flavor, chill the mixture for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  4. Just before serving, gently pour in the chilled ginger ale. Be careful not to stir too vigorously to avoid losing the fizz.
  5. Garnish with star anise (if using) and serve immediately.
