Ingredients:

  • 2 medium sweet potatoes (about 500g), peeled and cut into 1-inch cubes

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper (2g)
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon dried rosemary or thyme (1g) for added flavor

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cubed sweet potatoes, olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Toss the sweet potatoes until evenly coated in the oil and spices.
  4. Spread the coated sweet potato cubes in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, tossing halfway through, until they are golden brown and fork-tender.
  6. Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, and serve warm.
