Ingredients:
- ½ head of green cabbage, thinly sliced (about 3-4 cups/250-300 grams)
- 1 lb (450 grams) smoked sausage, sliced (e.g., kielbasa or chorizo)
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
- Lemon wedges (optional)
Instructions:
- Thinly slice the cabbage, onion, and sausage. Mince the garlic.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the sliced sausage and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the onion and sauté for 3 minutes; then add garlic and continue for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in the sliced cabbage, cooking for about 5-8 minutes until it’s tender but still crisp.
- Return the sausage to the skillet, and stir in the soy sauce and paprika. Season with salt and pepper.
- Cook for an additional 2 minutes, mixing well to combine all ingredients.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges if desired.
