- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
- Prepare the ingredients by mincing the garlic, chopping the herbs, and zesting the lemon.
- In a mixing bowl, combine garlic, rosemary, thyme, salt, pepper, lemon zest, and olive oil. Rub the mixture evenly over the chicken thighs.
- Place the seasoned chicken thighs in the crock pot and pour chicken broth around the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 4 hours, until the chicken is tender and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Once cooked, garnish with chopped parsley before serving warm.
