Ingredients:
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup finely chopped nuts (e.g., pecans, walnuts, or almonds)
- 2 tablespoons fresh herbs (thyme or dill) for garnish
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, blend the softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and sour cream until smooth.
- Stir in the herbs (chives and parsley), garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly incorporated.
- Use your hands to form the mixture into a ball shape. If sticky, wet your hands slightly.
- Wrap the ball tightly in cling film and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- While chilling, chop your nuts finely and set aside in a shallow dish.
- Once chilled, unwrap the cream cheese ball and roll it in the chopped nuts until fully coated.
- Transfer to a serving platter, sprinkle with additional fresh herbs, and enjoy with crackers or veggie sticks.
