Ingredients:
- 2 salmon fillets (6 oz/170 g each)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (30 ml)
- 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice (10 ml)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh herbs (e.g., dill, parsley, or thyme), chopped (about 1 tablespoon/15 g)
- Lemon wedges (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with foil, leaving enough excess to wrap around the salmon.
- In a small bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and chopped herbs.
- Place the salmon fillets on the prepared foil and brush the herb mixture generously over each fillet.
- Fold the foil over the salmon to create a sealed packet, ensuring no openings remain.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
- Carefully open the foil (watch for steam!), and serve with lemon wedges, if desired.
