Ingredients:

  • 6 ounces (170g) Salami, thinly sliced and chopped
  • 8 ounces (225g) Fresh Mozzarella, diced
  • 1/4 cup (30g) Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes (optional)
  • Salt and Black Pepper to taste
  • 1 pound (450g) Pre-made Pizza Dough
  • 1 large Egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon Milk or Water
  • Sesame Seeds or Poppy Seeds (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine chopped salami, diced mozzarella, grated Parmesan, olive oil, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  2. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  3. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to a 1/4-inch thickness. Cut the dough into roughly 2-inch squares.
  4. Place a spoonful of the salami-mozzarella filling in the center of each dough square.
  5. Fold the dough over the filling to form a triangle or rectangle. Pinch the edges tightly to seal.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and milk (or water). Brush the tops of the bites with the egg wash. Sprinkle with sesame seeds or poppy seeds, if desired.
  7. Arrange the bites on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and the filling is melted and bubbly.
