- 1 tablespoon (12 g) Erythritol, Stevia, or Monk Fruit Sweetener (or to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- Pinch of Sea Salt
- Optional: Sugar-free whipped cream or marshmallows for topping
Instructions:
- In a small saucepan, whisk together the almond milk, cocoa powder, sweetener, vanilla extract, and salt.
- Place the saucepan over medium heat.
- Continue to whisk constantly until the mixture is hot and slightly thickened. Avoid boiling.
- Taste the hot chocolate and adjust the sweetener to your preference.
- Pour the hot chocolate into a mug and top with sugar-free whipped cream or marshmallows (optional).
