Ingredients:

  • 3-4 lbs turkey wings, fresh or thawed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons salt (or to taste)
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce or tamari (for gluten-free)
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for serving)

Instructions:

  1. Rinse and pat the turkey wings dry. Toss wings with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, thyme, black pepper, and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together chicken broth, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, and brown sugar.
  3. Place the seasoned turkey wings in the slow cooker and pour the cooking liquid over the wings.
  4. Cover and set the slow cooker to low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours until wings are tender.
  5. Transfer turkey wings to a serving platter, drizzle with cooking liquid, and garnish with fresh parsley.
