Ingredients:
- 2 lbs (900 g) frozen chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
- 1 cup (240 ml) BBQ sauce, store-bought or homemade
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp (30 g) brown sugar
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp (5 g) garlic powder
- 1 tsp (5 g) onion powder
- 1/2 tsp (2.5 g) smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Place frozen chicken thighs directly in the crock pot.
- Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken, ensuring it's well coated.
- Cover the crock pot and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Once cooked, check that the internal temperature has reached 165°F (74°C). Use tongs or a fork to shred the chicken in the pot.
- Stir the shredded chicken to coat it in sauce well before serving.
