  • 2 lbs beef chuck roast, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 medium yellow onion, finely diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef bone broth
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 packet Slow Cooker Beef Tips with Onion Soup Mix
  • 1 packet Brown Gravy Mix
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp cold water

Instructions:

  1. Place the cubed beef chuck into the bottom of the slow cooker.

  3. In a small bowl or measuring cup, whisk together the beef bone broth, Worcestershire sauce, onion soup mix, brown gravy mix, and black pepper.
  4. Pour the liquid mixture over the beef, ensuring all pieces are submerged or well-coated.
  5. Cover with a tight-fitting lid and set the slow cooker to LOW. Cook for 7 to 8 hours without lifting the lid.
  6. Whisk the cornstarch and cold water in a small bowl until a smooth slurry forms.
  7. Stir the slurry into the slow cooker, set the heat to HIGH for 20–30 minutes, stirring occasionally until the gravy is velvety and thick.
