Ingredients:

  • 1 medium head of green cabbage, chopped
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup vegetable broth (or chicken broth)
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: 2 tablespoons olive oil or avocado oil

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Vegetables: In a large bowl, combine the chopped cabbage, sliced onion, sliced carrots, and minced garlic.
  2. Add Seasoning: Sprinkle the smoked paprika over the vegetables and season with salt and pepper. Toss well to combine.
  3. Layer in Crock Pot: Drizzle olive oil or avocado oil at the bottom of your slow cooker. Layer the vegetable mixture into the crock pot.
  4. Pour in Broth: Pour vegetable broth over the top of the vegetables.
  5. Cook: Cover and cook on low for about 6–8 hours or on high for about 3–4 hours until tender.
  6. Serve: Once cooked through, stir gently before serving hot as a side dish or main course.
