- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, cubed
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions:
- Pat the beef cubes dry with paper towels to ensure spices adhere properly.
- In a large bowl, toss the beef with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper until evenly coated.
- Transfer the seasoned beef into the slow cooker.
- Pour the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce over the beef, then scatter the cubed butter across the top.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours. Do not open the lid during the cooking process to maintain steam.
- Gently stir the beef to incorporate the melted butter into the sauce. For a thicker glaze, leave the lid off and cook on HIGH for an additional 30 minutes.
