Ingredients:

  • 1 large head of broccoli (approximately 500g / 1.1 lbs), cut into florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (30 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika (15 ml)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (approximately 1 teaspoon)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (2.5 ml)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (1.25 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (15 ml)
  • Optional: Red pepper flakes, to taste (approximately 1/4 teaspoon)
  • Optional: Parmesan cheese, grated (for serving)

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, toss the broccoli florets with olive oil, smoked paprika, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Ensure florets are evenly coated.
  2. Preheat the grill to medium heat (around 350°F / 175°C). Clean and lightly oil the grill grates (or grill basket).
  3. Place the broccoli florets on the grill grates (or in the grill basket).
  4. Grill for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the broccoli is tender-crisp and slightly charred.
  5. Remove the broccoli from the grill and transfer to a serving bowl. Drizzle with lemon juice. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes (if using) and grated Parmesan cheese (if using). Serve immediately.
