Ingredients:
- 2 oz (60 ml) Apple Cider (unfiltered preferred)
- 1 oz (30 ml) Cranberry Juice (100% juice, not cocktail mix)
- ½ oz (15 ml) Fresh Lemon Juice
- ½ oz (15 ml) Spiced Simple Syrup
- 4 oz (120 ml) Prosecco or other dry sparkling wine, chilled
- Apple slice, fresh cranberries, rosemary sprig (for garnish)
- ½ cup (100g) Granulated Sugar (for spiced simple syrup)
- ½ cup (120 ml) Water (for spiced simple syrup)
- 2 Cinnamon Sticks (for spiced simple syrup)
- 3 Whole Cloves (for spiced simple syrup)
- 2 Star Anise (for spiced simple syrup)
Instructions:
- Make the Spiced Simple Syrup: Combine sugar, water, cinnamon sticks, cloves, and star anise in a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer, stirring until sugar dissolves. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let steep for 30 minutes. Strain and cool.
- Chill glass if not using a shaker.
- Combine Ingredients (Shaker Method): Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add apple cider, cranberry juice, lemon juice, and spiced simple syrup. Shake well until chilled.
- Strain the mixture into your prepared glass.
- Top with chilled Prosecco.
- Garnish with an apple slice, fresh cranberries, and a rosemary sprig.
