Ingredients:
- 2 oz (60ml) Vodka
- 1 oz (30ml) Coffee Liqueur (Kahlúa or similar)
- 2 oz (60ml) Heavy Cream (Double Cream in the UK)
- 1 oz (30ml) Pumpkin Spice Syrup
- Ice cubes
- 1/2 cup (100g) Granulated Sugar
- 1/2 cup (120ml) Water
- 2 tbsp Pumpkin Puree
- 1 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
Instructions:
- Combine sugar, water, pumpkin puree, and pumpkin pie spice in a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves. Simmer for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract. Let cool completely. Store leftover syrup in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add vodka, coffee liqueur, heavy cream, and pumpkin spice syrup. Shake vigorously until well-chilled (about 15-20 seconds).
- Fill a rocks glass with ice. Add vodka, coffee liqueur, heavy cream, and pumpkin spice syrup to the glass. Stir until well-chilled (about 15 seconds).
- If you shook it, strain the mixture into a rocks glass filled with ice. If you stirred it, you're already good to go.
- Sprinkle with a pinch of pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, or a dusting of cocoa powder. Add a cinnamon stick or a fun Halloween cocktail pick.
