Ingredients:

  • 4 (6 oz) salmon fillets (about 170 g each)
  • ¼ cup (60 ml) honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced (about 9 g)
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) fresh ginger, minced (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Chopped green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, olive oil, and ginger until well combined.
  3. Place the salmon fillets in a baking dish. Season each fillet with salt and pepper.
  4. Pour the honey-garlic mixture over the salmon, ensuring each fillet is well-coated.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  6. Remove from the oven, sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds, and serve immediately.
