Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (150g) fresh or frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1/4 cup (60g) plain yogurt (Greek or non-dairy)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4-5 ice cubes

Instructions:

  1. If using fresh strawberries, wash, hull, and halve (if large). If using frozen, no need to do anything.
  2. Place all ingredients (strawberries, milk, yogurt, honey/maple syrup, vanilla extract, and ice cubes) into the blender.
  3. Secure the lid on the blender and blend on high speed until smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, add a splash more milk. If it's too thin, add a few more ice cubes.
  4. Give the strawberry smoothie a taste and adjust the sweetness by adding more honey or maple syrup, if desired.
  5. Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy immediately.
