Ingredients:
- 1 cup (150g) fresh or frozen strawberries
- 1/2 cup (120ml) milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 1/4 cup (60g) plain yogurt (Greek or non-dairy)
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4-5 ice cubes
Instructions:
- If using fresh strawberries, wash, hull, and halve (if large). If using frozen, no need to do anything.
- Place all ingredients (strawberries, milk, yogurt, honey/maple syrup, vanilla extract, and ice cubes) into the blender.
- Secure the lid on the blender and blend on high speed until smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, add a splash more milk. If it's too thin, add a few more ice cubes.
- Give the strawberry smoothie a taste and adjust the sweetness by adding more honey or maple syrup, if desired.
- Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy immediately.
