Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries, hulled and roughly chopped
  • 1 cup plain, unsweetened yogurt (full-fat Greek recommended, ensure no xylitol)
  • 2 tablespoons water or unsweetened coconut water
  • 1 teaspoon honey (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Place the chopped strawberries into a blender or food processor.
  2. Add the plain yogurt, water or coconut water, and the optional honey to the blender.
  3. Process the mixture until it is completely smooth and uniform in consistency.
  4. Carefully spoon or pour the strawberry-yogurt mixture into silicone ice cube trays or small dog-treat moulds.
  5. Place the filled moulds onto a flat tray and transfer them gently to the freezer.
  6. Freeze for a minimum of 4 hours, or preferably overnight, until completely solid.
  7. To unmould, gently peel back the silicone or run the base of the mould under lukewarm water for a few seconds. Serve immediately.
