Ingredients:
- 1 piece of genuine leather (croc-embossed, brown) - 2 inches wide x 50 inches long
- 1 belt buckle (rectangular or round, brass or silver)
- 1 piece of leather for the tongue - 6 inches long x 1.5 inches wide
- 1 spool of heavy-duty thread (matching color)
- 1 pack of decorative rivets or studs (optional)
- 1 bottle of leather conditioner (optional)
- 1 package of leather dye (for color touch-ups, optional)
Instructions:
- Lay out the croc-embossed leather on a flat surface and measure and cut the leather strips according to the dimensions listed.
- Cut the smaller piece for the belt tongue and ensure it has rounded edges for a professional appearance.
- Use a leather punch to create holes along the length of the belt for adjusting fit, ensuring the holes are evenly spaced.
- Insert the belt tail through the buckle and sew or attach the buckle securely with heavy-duty thread.
- If using rivets, mark their placement, punch holes accordingly, and hammer them in place for decorative effects.
- Inspect the belt for any rough edges and smooth them if needed, applying leather dye for touch-ups if necessary.
