Ingredients:

  • 1 piece of genuine leather (croc-embossed, brown) - 2 inches wide x 50 inches long
  • 1 belt buckle (rectangular or round, brass or silver)
  • 1 piece of leather for the tongue - 6 inches long x 1.5 inches wide
  • 1 spool of heavy-duty thread (matching color)
  • 1 pack of decorative rivets or studs (optional)
  • 1 bottle of leather conditioner (optional)
  • 1 package of leather dye (for color touch-ups, optional)

Instructions:

  1. Lay out the croc-embossed leather on a flat surface and measure and cut the leather strips according to the dimensions listed.
  2. Cut the smaller piece for the belt tongue and ensure it has rounded edges for a professional appearance.
  3. Use a leather punch to create holes along the length of the belt for adjusting fit, ensuring the holes are evenly spaced.
  4. Insert the belt tail through the buckle and sew or attach the buckle securely with heavy-duty thread.
  5. If using rivets, mark their placement, punch holes accordingly, and hammer them in place for decorative effects.
  6. Inspect the belt for any rough edges and smooth them if needed, applying leather dye for touch-ups if necessary.
