Ingredients:
- 20 oz (567g) crushed pineapple, undrained
- 1 cup (227g) granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup (113g) all-purpose flour
- 1 cup (113g) shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup (100g) crushed Ritz crackers (about 24 crackers)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease the baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine the crushed pineapple, sugar, flour, and cheddar cheese. Mix well until evenly distributed.
- In a separate bowl, combine the melted butter and crushed Ritz crackers. Toss to coat the crackers evenly with butter.
- Pour the pineapple mixture into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle the cracker topping evenly over the pineapple mixture.
- Bake for 30 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the casserole is bubbly.
- Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.
