Ingredients:

  • 1.5 cups frozen mixed berries
  • 1 large banana, sliced and frozen
  • 0.25 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 tbsp plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds

Instructions:

  1. Pour the almond milk and Greek yogurt into the bottom of the blender jar.
  2. Add the protein powder and chia seeds on top of the liquid base.
  3. Place the frozen mixed berries and frozen banana slices on top of the other ingredients to weigh them down toward the blades.
  4. Start the blender on low-speed pulses to break up frozen chunks. Gradually increase to medium-high speed, using a tamper if necessary, until a thick 'four-petal' swirl forms. Do not over-blend.
  5. Transfer the mixture immediately into a chilled bowl using a silicone spatula and smooth the surface.
