Ingredients:
- 1 cup fresh or frozen pineapple chunks (150g)
- 1 cup kale leaves, stems removed, tightly packed (67g)
- 1 ripe banana (120g)
- 1 cup coconut water (240ml) or almond milk
- 1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup (optional, 21g)
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional, 12g)
Instructions:
- Wash the kale leaves thoroughly and remove stems.
- Peel and slice the banana if using fresh.
- Add the pineapple, kale, banana, and coconut water (or almond milk) to the blender.
- Start blender on low, gradually increasing to high speed. Blend until smooth and creamy, about 30-45 seconds.
- If the smoothie is too thick, add a splash more coconut water or almond milk and blend again.
- If desired, add honey or agave syrup and chia seeds, then blend briefly to combine.
- Pour the smoothie into glasses and enjoy immediately!
