Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen pineapple chunks (150g)
  • 1 cup kale leaves, stems removed, tightly packed (67g)
  • 1 ripe banana (120g)
  • 1 cup coconut water (240ml) or almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup (optional, 21g)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional, 12g)

Instructions:

  1. Wash the kale leaves thoroughly and remove stems.
  2. Peel and slice the banana if using fresh.
  3. Add the pineapple, kale, banana, and coconut water (or almond milk) to the blender.
  4. Start blender on low, gradually increasing to high speed. Blend until smooth and creamy, about 30-45 seconds.
  5. If the smoothie is too thick, add a splash more coconut water or almond milk and blend again.
  6. If desired, add honey or agave syrup and chia seeds, then blend briefly to combine.
  7. Pour the smoothie into glasses and enjoy immediately!
