  • 1 Tablespoon Onion Powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Dried Thyme
  • 1 Teaspoon Dried Rosemary, finely crushed
  • 1 Tablespoon Freshly Cracked Black Pepper
  • 1 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Optional)

Instructions:

  1. Measure Dry Ingredients: Carefully measure all ingredients (salt, sugar, paprikas, powders, herbs, pepper, and optional turmeric) into a medium mixing bowl.
  2. Combine Thoroughly: Using a whisk or fork, combine the ingredients. Whisk vigorously for at least 1 minute to ensure the finer powders (like turmeric and onion powder) are fully incorporated with the salt and sugar, preventing clumping.
  3. Test and Adjust: Taste a very small pinch (remembering the high salt content!) and adjust sweetness, heat, or smokiness as desired.
  4. Storage: Transfer the completed seasoning mix into an airtight jar. Seal tightly and label clearly with the date. Store in a cool, dark place.
