Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 tbsp (10g) fresh dill, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp (6g) lemon zest, finely grated
  • 1 tsp (5ml) fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp (1.5g) kosher salt
  • 1/8 tsp (0.3g) fresh ground black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Place the softened butter in a mixing bowl. Use a fork or spatula to cream it until it is smooth and devoid of any lumps.
  2. Fold in the chopped fresh dill, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Stir gently until the dill is evenly distributed.
  3. Spoon the mixture onto parchment paper. Roll it into a tight cylinder (log shape) and twist the ends of the paper to seal.
  4. Place the log in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm up before serving.
