Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, softened
- 3 tbsp (10g) fresh dill, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp (6g) lemon zest, finely grated
- 1 tsp (5ml) fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp (1.5g) kosher salt
- 1/8 tsp (0.3g) fresh ground black pepper
Instructions:
- Place the softened butter in a mixing bowl. Use a fork or spatula to cream it until it is smooth and devoid of any lumps.
- Fold in the chopped fresh dill, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Stir gently until the dill is evenly distributed.
- Spoon the mixture onto parchment paper. Roll it into a tight cylinder (log shape) and twist the ends of the paper to seal.
- Place the log in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm up before serving.
