Ingredients:

  • 4 oz (120 ml) fresh lime juice (about 2-3 limes)
  • 2 oz (60 ml) silver tequila
  • 1 oz (30 ml) agave nectar (or honey)
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Ice cubes
  • Lime wedges (for garnish)
  • Coarse salt (for rimming glass)

Instructions:

  1. If desired, rim the glasses with coarse salt by rubbing a lime wedge around the rim and dipping it into salt.
  2. Squeeze fresh lime juice into a measuring cup, ensuring you avoid seeds.
  3. In a shaker (or jar), add lime juice, tequila, agave nectar, and a pinch of sea salt.
  4. Fill the shaker with ice, secure the lid, and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds.
  5. Fill the prepared glasses with fresh ice and strain the margarita mixture evenly into each.
  6. Add lime wedges for garnish and serve immediately.
