Ingredients:

  • 4 salmon fillets (each about 6 oz or 170g)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (30 ml)
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt (5g)
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper (2g)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (30 ml)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped (or 1 tablespoon dried dill) (optional)

  • Fresh herbs for garnish (parsley or additional dill)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line the baking tray with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  3. Place the salmon fillets in the tray; brush with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, lemon juice, and dill (if using).
  4. Transfer the tray to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) and the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  5. Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh herbs, and serve with lemon wedges.
