Ingredients:

  • 8 oz (225g) unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
  • 1 tbsp (3g) fresh rosemary, finely minced
  • 1 tbsp (3g) fresh thyme leaves, minced
  • 2 cloves (6g) garlic, minced into a paste
  • ½ tsp (3g) kosher salt
  • ¼ tsp (1g) finely ground black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Finely chop the fresh rosemary and thyme until almost a powder, and mince the garlic until it reaches a paste-like consistency.
  2. Place the softened butter in a medium mixing bowl and fold in the minced herbs, garlic, salt, and pepper using a spatula until evenly distributed.
  3. Spoon the mixture onto parchment paper and roll into a tight cylinder (log shape), twisting the ends securely.
  4. Chill the butter log in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm up before slicing.
