Ingredients:
- 8 oz (225g) unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
- 1 tbsp (3g) fresh rosemary, finely minced
- 1 tbsp (3g) fresh thyme leaves, minced
- 2 cloves (6g) garlic, minced into a paste
- ½ tsp (3g) kosher salt
- ¼ tsp (1g) finely ground black pepper
Instructions:
- Finely chop the fresh rosemary and thyme until almost a powder, and mince the garlic until it reaches a paste-like consistency.
- Place the softened butter in a medium mixing bowl and fold in the minced herbs, garlic, salt, and pepper using a spatula until evenly distributed.
- Spoon the mixture onto parchment paper and roll into a tight cylinder (log shape), twisting the ends securely.
- Chill the butter log in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm up before slicing.
