Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (225g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 tsp (6g) kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp (1g) black pepper
  • 1 tbsp (6g) fresh sage, finely minced
  • 1 tbsp (6g) fresh rosemary, finely minced
  • 1 tbsp (6g) fresh thyme leaves
  • 3 cloves (9g) garlic, minced

Instructions:

  1. Place the unsalted butter in a mixing bowl. Ensure it is soft enough to stir easily but not melted.
  2. Add the minced sage, rosemary, thyme, and garlic paste to the bowl. Use a rubber spatula to fold the herbs into the butter until evenly distributed.
  3. Stir in the kosher salt and black pepper. Mix vigorously until the salt has dissolved into the fat.
  4. Transfer the butter to an airtight container or roll into a log using parchment paper. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow flavors to marry.
